Teacup Tuesday?

Good Morning Everyone,

It’s Tuesday and you know what that means don’t you - Yep It Teacup Tuesday With Martha & Terri.

Now before we get started I want to make it clear that I know the pictures I am sharing with you today are mugs rather than dainty teacups; and no I haven’t run out of teacups yet. - not yet anyway.

These mugs however are my craft room mugs - a little sturdier to take any bumps and bruises that may occur while I am busy creating. And since I spent a considerable amount of time in there yesterday - I figured that I probably should share them with you.

This first mug - is all about crafts and I’ve had it for many moons. I thought the lady on the mug looked kind of like me, Sir Knight disagreed - because the tip of her tongue doesn’t stick out when she’s concentrating real hard. Yea! I know not a very lady like habit - but on my behalf - I only do it when I am really deep in thought and glue. ( I really don’t know when I picked up such a habit - but I figure I’m too old to change now.)

"There's nothing more exciting than starting a new project."

"One craft project, like one cookie,
is never enough!'

The last one I’m showing, my Mother bought for me about 13 years ago. It is a rather inspirational mug.
And has many sayings that apply to me so well.

Such as . . .
The older I get The more I enjoy a cup of tea.
The older I get. The more I see good coming out of difficulty
The older I get. The closer I feel to old friends
The older I get. The gentler I am with myself

So there you have it.
Hope you enjoyed this little peek into the heart of my craft room.

"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." Scott Adams

"Crafters don't grow old, they just get more bazaar."

Penny

I enjoyed viewing your mug as much as I would have looking at teacups. If they're special to you, they're certainly worth writing about.

The mugs are great! They are cheery and uplifting and the sayings are so true! I bet you get glue on the mug you sip hot beverages from in your craft room.I like the picture of you in my mind as you stick your tongue out while you concentrate.

You're right, great minds do think alike~

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely tea mugs! I agree that in the craft room when one is elbow deep in glitter and glue a mug is best!
Your mugs are fab, I especially love the last one with all those wonderful sentiments.
Thank you so much for sharing!
Hugs,
Terri
