Mancat Monday

Hey Evfurryone,
Its me Genghis, Its been so long since I posted - I figured you might have forgot me. I'm still here though and happy you dropped by for a visit.

Saturday I just sat around and rested all morning and half the afternoon cuz Pellie & Sir Knight were gone all that time. You can best believe I gave them my best "where have you been for all this time" look when they did get home.

Oh my gosh then things got busy for me, they brought in box after box of old dirty junk stuff and some of it even smelled bad. As a dutiful snooperviser I checked every thing out at least once and some things twice.

After Pellie washed evfurry thing I had to go back around and give it the old sniff test. It all smelled so much better, but nothing that they brought home looked very cool to me.

Pellie made all kinds of funny noises about how she loved all the new rose thingies and they would all go into the studio. Oh boy - it didn't take a genius to figure out that my walking and snoozing space was going to be compromised if that happened.

There was no way to stop her, on Sunday she wouldn't go any where - she stayed home cleaning the studio and making it more hazzzardous to my health. Man Oh man there was a time when Sir Knight and I trembled in fear - we couldn't see the floor any more it was so cluttered up with stuff being moved all around the studio/shed. To make matters even worser, she started carrying a few things down to the basement. (There goes my nice napping spaces she had left on those shelves.)

When she was done - some time around 10pm the studio really did look much better and it still has a few choice places for me to curl up and nap - so I am a happy kitty.

Today she was doing laundry and talking about how she needs to get back down in the basement and get that all neat and organized. I started laughing so hard I almost fell of the chair; that area of the basement hasn't been neat and organized for the 2 1/2 years I've lived here. When my brofur Dale was still with us - he used to tell me stories on how that used to be Pellie's main craft room and every thing was neat and clean - I'd just agree with him, being respectful of my elders, but never did believe him. So I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happen in the near future.

The last two pictures are of me hiding out in her old craft room in the basement and you can't see very much from the picture, but believe me, if this room is going to get cleaned up it will probably be the scariest 2 weeks of this cats life. I know for a fact she won't be able to clean it all in one day or even one week. and if she does it the same as upstairs - the floor may just swallow her up. I'll have to try and keep track of her while she is down there, so I can tell Sir Knight where to find here to rescue her from the clutter.

Well that's all the news I have for today, so I think I'll go lay on Pellie's lap and get her to lavish me with a little attention.

Purrs,
Genghis

Welcome back!!! We like your new hidey spot. Mom gets in those moods too sometimes and goes on a cleaning rampage.

We do the cleaning around here. We just shove everything off the furniture and onto the floor. We like the look. Don't know why Jan complains.
