Hello everyone.
Here in the Midwest, winter seems to last forever; and the time from when spring officially arrives on the calendar till the time you see the real signs in nature certainly has had each and everyone of us in hopeful anticipation for some time.
Last week for Easter our grass was still wearing her winter brown and the bud on trees- if any were just teeny tiny promises of what is to come. This week as I worked, being a renaissance seamstress, and the rains fell, I would only catch a glimpse or two - but today, the sun is shinning and I knew I had to head outside and spend a few hours rejoicing in springs return. Sir Knight and I wandered, camera in hand around the yard and it was wonderful.
Yes, spring is here!!
On a different note. I wanted to show you these wonderful old/vintage buttons, in their cute dispenser. I bought a few of these at an auction many many moons ago and have loved using these beauties in my craft project; so I thought you might too. Therefore, I am adding this container to the Crafter's Delight Giveaway.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Penny

We hope you have a wonderful weekend too and we are, well, were glad to have spring but burrrrr...it's only 48 degrees in the south this morning.
Happy Sunday Sweetie! All of a sudden things are starting to come to life over here too! It does seem like just overnight! Your yard is so big and beautiful! I just love old buttons!...thanks so much for your sweet visit!

Hello from a sunny day in Washington. We have tulips popping up everywhere and pink cherry blossom tree's. The weather report can be frightful here in my corner of Washington but we have been very very lucky to have such a mild winter. We spent the day at a local swap meet and antique show. I bought THAT GIRL paper dolls...way too fun for a girl like me! Found a gnome laying in a ash tray too...oh, for the giggle of it.
What a beautiful blog, but I wouldn't expect any less!!
okay - definitely put me in the craft giveaway - I am a button freak!!
cheers, Dana
Ah,spring. Ghengis, we hope it arrives there without all the barking and honking we've been forced to listen to here. If there's pollen around, don't let your human breathe, you hear!
