OH No!!!!! The Big 60

Hello everyone,
I want to thank each and everyone of you wonderful people, kitties and woofies for sending me such wonderful birthday wishes. Big hugs to each and every one of you.

I am so tired after my whirlwind long weekend celebration - I'll need a year to rest up.

But it was so wonderful. Sir Knight wined and dined me at some of my favorite place, took me gambling on a few of the river boats, shopping to some antique malls we haven't been to in quite some time and he was even sweet enough to walk around Hobby Lobby with me - even though he does not particularly like the place. How wonderful is that?

Pictured above are some of the neat presents received from my two guys. The punch and packages of brads are parts to my new I-top. Brad top maker. The I top itself is on order at this time at Scrapaganza, our local scrapbook store. No one else with in a 60 mile radius had it or even knew what I was talking about. So I am an extremely happy Old lady. I have been wanting one for about two months now - and soon - I'll have it and be able to play.

This is what my Niece and her family sent me. - Notice they made sure I knew I was 60. I love all the butterflies - so who can be sore that they like to rub a little salt into the wounds. (just kidding kids,)
I Love you all and I can take a joke.

This is what my Brother and Sister-in Law sent me. - Ooooh, gift cards - they are burning a hole in my pocket already. Can't wait to go shopping. Look at that necklace isn't it stunning. I love it

Hugs,
Penny (may be 60 -but doing the aging bit in style)

Yeah, don't you just love it when everyone has to keep reminding you of your age. As if that is something you'd forget. Looks like you had a fun birthday.

We are glad you had a lovely birthday with lots of beautiful presents. Mum said the butterfly necklace is gorgeous. (The other one is too but she likes butterflies.) She doesn't like to think about it but she will be 60 as well next year, but don't tell her we told you.

Oh dog gone it and shoot, and bummer...I missed your birthday!

Right now...I'm toasting my tea cup to you! A splash of orange cinnamon to my favorite Pellie girl and company.

I'm up to my chin with seniors and their wish list. Took on a new job as an activity director of a huge retirement home...they are on the go! Wish list includes theater, wine, art, boat rides, walks and climbs and exercise class and movies and on and on I go. I'm exhausted by 6pm from hanging out with the 80 yr olds!

May this coming year be filled with bliss and chocolate and good times with all! Happy Birthday girlfriend!
