- I am a sixty something, retired nurse and adjunct instructor for a local college. I originally hail from the south side of Chicago- but moved to the northwestern area of Illinois some years ago. It is here I met and married my wonderful husband. Here in our lovely rambling ranch house we have worked together for 9 years to build a peaceful, harmonious home we share with one very pampered cat. Who - you will notice - kindly decided to join me in this my first blogging experience.
